VOCON Virtual Auctions is an innovative way for VOCON Auctions to provide a larger selection of inventory to our customers. These Patent Pending virtual sales are conducted during or immediately following VOCON live auctions.

VOCON broadcasts the equipment being sold off-site on our state of the art mobile office so customers attending the live sale can also bid on off-site equipment. Online Buyers need to register to bid online prior to the start of the auction.

Online bidding brings the auction right to your home of office computer through EquipmentFacts.com.  There are two or three steps that must be completed depending on if you are a first time user:  1. Sign up to receive a bidder number and password - First time user only  2. Sign up to attend the auction of your choice.  3. Fax a bank letter of guarentee for the auction.

1. If you are a first time user you will need to sign up to receive a bidder number.  Go to www.equipmentfacts.com and click on "get a bidder number".  Read the terms and conditions, complete the registration form and submit the information.  You will be contacted within 24 hours with either a bidder number and password or a request for further information.  Once you have received a bidder number be sure to put it somewhere safe as it is good for any auction attended through EquipmentFacts.com. 

2. Sign up to attend the auction of your choice.  Go to www.equipmentfacts.com and find the auction on the home page that you want to attend.  Click "sign up for auction", enter your bidder number and password.  You must read the terms and conditions and click accept.  Please read these as they may change from auction to auction. 

3. Submit a bank letter of guarantee.  This must be faxed to 908-842-0427 prior to the start of the auction. 

Once this is completed you are ready to attend the auction.  On the day of the sale go into www.equipmentfacts.com and click on "attend auction".  This again will ask you for you bidder number and password, accept the terms and conditions and you are ready to bid. 

You will have the ability to view still pictures of the equipment, some auctions have live video feed and when available you can see pre-recorded video of the equipment in action.  You can also chat directly with staff on site at the sale through the chat feature. Incoming bids are seen both on-line and by the crowd attending live on our state of the art auction cart. 

Prior to the Virtual selling deadline, potential buyers can inspect off-site equipment at one of VOCON's 8 regional holding lots by appointment.
